Josie had her operation yesterday. We dropped her off at he vet in Lawson about 8:30am and Ian and the boys went up about 4:30pm to bring her back home.
The vet says he found and removed a tiny little bit of ovarian tissue about the size of half a matchhead and that hopefully will be the end to the matter.
She just needs 24 hours quiet recovery so I am off work today and dagging about the house with Ishbel.
Ish and I had a late night last night, not getting back from Rock Eisteddfod until shortly before midnight. Another great night of dance spectacular. Springwood High School did marvellously but were rather overshadowed by Northmead High School who managed to get a jumbo jet on stage!!!

Poor Jose, hope she recovers well.
Did the original vet do it or did you have to do it again. Shame such a small piece of ovarian tissue could cause such a problem for her.
What about her heart, how is that getting on?
How about your other recovery, how is he getting on?

Just read the last comment further down. Good for the RSPCA. Very glad to hear they are sorting the problem out for you.
Paul McGreevy hit the Mail last week when someone asked if dogs are left or right pawed. The answer was that Paul had done the research.
Google him and the research. Fascinating. Of course Shirley was full of it. Check your two.
By the way, been meaning to ask - the boys wanted a bigger dog - do they look after her and walk her??

Do the boys walk the dog?
Only when forced.
Do the boys feed the dog?
Only when forced.
Do the boys pay the vet fees?
Not even if forced.
I think she's my dog.
Last time the vet had a listen, the heart sounded normal so hopefully that drama is behind us.
Ian is waiting to find out if he has been booked in for removal of the pin in his hand the week after next. He realised just this morning (Wed) that he'd not heard from the doctor's rooms. He spoke to the Workcover insurance person today who told him the paperwork had only arrived on his desk yesterday.
Not sure how long after the pin is removed before Ian will be able to drive again.
I might be a dottery old granny, but I think I could have anticipated that Jose was yours!! You could have had a cute little Westie - not that I think Jose is not cute - just big.
Remember Mr Alex offered us the horses to keep for the winter in the field behind Rosetrees Lane. Afraid I knew nothing about horses but knew who would be looking after them, especially whilst you were at Welly!
The NHS may be in dire straights Ian but I think people still get treated right away and fight for the money from the Insurances later.
Hope the pin comes out soon and you are improving. Tom still has the pin in his leg that was put in around 1970. It was supposed to come out but nobody ever has removed it.
Every now and then he sets off the security at the airport and blames his watch - I wonder?
X GD
Ian's surgery not being done by Medicare - all private paid for by Workcover. It's the doctor's secretary who's rubbish. She's either his wife, or his mistress, coz she's not earning her keep with her secretarial skills!
Workcover is workplace insurance that covers you if you have an injury at work - it also covers you for your journey to and from work.
